Andrea Oliva Live in Dubai

Base Dubai is back after summer with a massive line-up. The opening party kicked off on September 22 with DJ Magnum and the club’s return to action with top headliners each week; there are some big, big names from the worlds of EDM and hip hop coming to town.

Andrea Oliva, Sylvain Armand, DJ Cassidy, Nervo, Kid Ink, Erick Morillo, DJ M.O.S, Defected, Fat Joe, Cathylicious with Cathy Guetta, Young M.A, Disciples, Ruckus, It’s All About The Music – Apollonia & Leon, Tyga, and French Montana, are all confirmed for this season at the Dubai club. Thursdays will be predominantly led by house tunes, and Fridays will be all about the hip hop. The eagle-eyed might have seen that coming if you saw the pre-summer line-ups, with EDM acts (like Axwell) usually headlining the Thursday before rappers (including 50 Cent and Busta Rhymes) took over on Fridays.

Base launched just before summer in Dubai Design District (d3), and it made waves on the city’s nightlife scene straight off, with names like Rick Ross and Afrojack making appearances. The open-air club has oversized tables and promises a five-star service to rival the best venues in Las Vegas and Ibiza.

Andrea Oliva’s current status as an established international headline act is the result of an entirely organic journey. Summer 2016 was arguably Andrea’s busiest yet; he became one of seven all-night guests to regularly take over the Space Terrace for Elrow, made his Music On debut and played some of Europe’s biggest dance music festivals - all whilst maintaining his famed ANTS headliner commitments.

Unsurprisingly, Andrea´s commitment to the underground scene has garnered him widespread support, and his music is appreciated by a range of dance music luminaries. He’s worked with artists like Pete Tong and Hot Since 82, and his remix of Luciano’s track ‘Rise of Angels’ went straight to the top of Beatport’s dance music charts. 2017 shows no signs of slowing down for this Swiss Italian talent - releases are penned on Kaluki, Snatch, Relief, Rejected, Subliminal and 7Wallace throughout the year in addition to a debut Boiler Room session and key dates at clubs and festivals worldwide… and now BASE Dubai! You can expect to hear some of his biggest singles, including ‘Elephant’ and ‘Vermona’.
