A first-of-its-kind World Giftedness Centre International Conference aims to facilitate the exchange of knowledge in giftedness and talent development.

World Giftedness Centre International Conference was inaugurated on Monday by Hussain bin Ibrahim Al Hammadi, Minister of Education, at the Dubai Exhibition Centre at Expo 2020 Dubai.
The conference oversaw the launch of the World Giftedness Centre. The announcement was made by Hussain Ibrahim Al Hammadi during the first ‘World Giftedness Centre International Conference’ hosted by ‘Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Distinguished Academic Performance’.
The centre aims to become a global hub for talent development and create a mindset of cultivation of excellence to support fundamental educational needs around the world, according to Wam. The conference will continue until October 21.
The conference is being attended by renowned researchers, educationalists, psychologists, parents and anyone interested in the field of gifted education and talent development from all across the world.
Hammadi also launched two international awards – ‘School Global Award Initiative of Gifted Education’ and ‘Applied Research Global Award of Gifted Education’. The aim of these awards is to encourage research and initiatives that support talented students around the world.
