Ready for a laugh? It’s time for some hilarious, tear-inducing laughs as the Dubai Comedy Festival is returning to the city in May, 2021. It’s a ten day extravaganza full of belly-aching fun that is sure to lighten up any mood.
The comedy extravaganza kicks off on May 13 and runs all the way through until May 22.
Dubai Comedy Festival last had everyone laughing back in October 2020, when it ran from October 21 to 24 at various locations across the city, including Dubai Opera. Comedians including Gad Elmaleh, Michelle Wolf, Mo Amer, Ali Al Sayed, Nemr, Vir Das, Gaurav Kapoor and Mina Liccione had the city in stitches.
The event, which will take place across the city, is presented by Dubai Calendar and produced by BRAG, Live Nation and DXB Live.
The line-up for this year’s show has not yet been revealed but we’ll be sure to tell you when it does.
Local and regional comedic talents will have an excellent opportunity to show off their skills at the festival. We hope we can expect to see some of the talented local comedy troupes from Courtyard Playhouse, Dubomedy and The Junction strut their stuff with street shows and one-off gigs.
The names that are set to entertain will be revealed soon, so stay tuned..
