Brooklyn-born comedian Simeon Goodson returns to yuk it up for a stand-up special at Molecule Restaurant in D3, on 11 May, with international award-winning fellow US comedian Tai the COMEDYBAWSE.

Both residents of the UAE, the pair will present a unique perspective on daily life as black Americans in this multicultural city. Simeon Goodson is a native of Brooklyn, NY who has been performing in the comedy clubs, bars, and alternative venues of New York City since 2004. He has performed at a variety of world famous venues including Caroline's on Broadway and The Brooklyn Academy of Music. In addition, he has performed across the United States with the "Comedy's Best Kept Secret Tour" and as the opening act on the Hannibal Burress "Comedy Camisado Tour". Goodson left behind a successful career in the world’s biggest comedy hotspot – his albums were on iTunes and his face was featured in Brooklyn Magazine’s 50 Funniest People in Brooklyn – but the comedian doesn’t seem to have any regrets about relocating to the comedy desert of Al Ain.

Tai’s comedic pedigree includes big wins in the UAE Comedy Awards and Dubai’s first Short+Sweet Comedy Festival, as well as top prize in OSN’s ‘Dubai on Demand Presenter Hunt’. Simeon Goodson has similarly taken the local comedy scene by storm and has been featured in numerous publications as well as on Comedy Central Arabia’s Comedy al Wagif seasons 2 & 3.
