Dubai has launched a new digital platform to help entrepreneurs with a "comprehensive solution" to start a business in the emirate.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister and Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai announced the launch of Invest Dubai – a digital platform for entrepreneurs looking to set up shop in Dubai.
The platform was launched during the Dubai’s Executive Council’s meeting at the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park held under the chairmanship of Ruler of Dubai.
The unified digital platform has more than 2,000 business activities, complete fee transactions and link various local, federal and banking entities with one another.
The 'Invest in Dubai' platform will enable investors to obtain the 'establishment card' required by the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship and the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation. It can also be used to attest the Memorandum of Association from the Department of Economic Development as well as in rental contract registration.
Starting from December 2020 entrepreneurs of all nationalities could start businesses with 100% foreign ownership. In the Ease of Doing Business score by The World Bank in 2020, Dubai scored a high 94.8, based on 10 factors and ranks in the top 20 easiest countries to start a business.
The digital platforms helps and guides entrepreneurs to establish a business either in a free zone and mainland Dubai in diverse sectors, including technology, advanced manufacturing, finance, agriculture and food, entertainment and media, Islamic economy, energy, healthcare, professional services, electronics and maritime.
