Startup Grind is a local chapter of the Google for Entrepreneurs-powered global start-up community which actively educates, inspires, and connects entrepreneurs. Founded in Silicon Valley in 2010; their network has over 1 million entrepreneurs in over 365 cities. They host monthly live fireside chats that interviews founders, CEOs, innovators and influencers who share their stories in a room full of entrepreneurs.
On August 29, the Dubai Chapter will be hosting Muhammad Chbib, Founder and CEO of tajawal, an online travel platform for airline tickets and hotel bookings. With a vision to redefine how people in the Middle East travel, going beyond the functional and generic services of other online travel agencies in the region, Tajawal is known to offer a fresh, bold take on this dynamic sector, using its inventive platform to take travellers beyond the usual routes. He is also the EVP, Strategic Online Business Unit at Al Tayyar Group.
Muhammad has a passion for entrepreneurship and coaching young aspiring leaders, topics he regularly advocates and promotes across the region and beyond. His upbringing and professional experience in multinational organisations has seen him successfully develop brands to large cross-nation audiences. Muhammad will be sharing stories on his entrepreneurial journey and the lessons he learnt on the way to building a successful business.
