There's good news if you do. A special fromage fest is happening this month in Dubai, and we're already marking our diaries.
Cheese Fest is coming to town on Friday February 22 and Saturday February 23 and it’s going to showcase a heap of dairy-based goodies.
Thanks to SOPEXA Middle East, cheese lovers can taste cheeses from around the world and witness the rapid growth of an international industry in Dubai.
The official event will be held at Westin Mina Seyahi, where visitors can buy imported cheeses, meet vendors from across the region, attend informative workshops and win exciting competitions. The cheese feasting begins at 7pm until midnight on Friday and 12pm until 10pm on the Saturday, giving cheese lovers heaps of time to experience cheeses from around the world.
And kids will be kept entertained too thanks to dedicated activities throughout the day. During this period, retail chains like Carrefour, Spinneys and Choithrams will host nearly 200 in-store tasting sessions for customers to sample various brands, manufacturers and production methods.
