Sole Dxb Adds D3 Marketplace for 2019 Edition

Calling Dubai’s urban crowd: head along to d3 to check out the latest in street wear, street art and top live music.

Taking place from Thursday December 5 to Saturday December 7 at Dubai’s Design District (D3), the festival celebrates the very best of footwear, music, art and lifestyle so make sure you dig out your edgiest streetwear as it draws out the coolest of crowds. This year's festival is set to celebrate all things Jamaica, with a focus on the "sights and sounds" of the island.

It’s the eighth year of Sole DXB, which first came to Dubai in 2011 and has proved to be a massive hit amongst Dubai’s urban crowd. Previous years have also seen a number of talks with industry artists, DJs, influencers and graffiti artists so make sure to keep an eye out for the line-up.

In previous years, globally recognised brands including Nike, Adidas, Puma and Reebok exhibiting at the event with so we’re sure you can expect much the same at 2019’s edition. Handily taking place the week after payday, you’ll be able to browse everything from clothing to footwear, bags and accessories so make sure your wallet is ready to take the hit.

Sole DXB has announced the addition of the d3 Marketplace in collaboration with Dubai Design District (d3) to its already impressive agenda. The new format will house 12 breakout brands from the region and further afield, who will be showcasing their latest collections, limited edition products, and pre-season drops exclusive to Sole DXB 2019.

The full 12 brands showcasing will be Leaf Apparel, Azra, Jungles Jungles, One and Four Studio, SIX5SIX Street, Selfi, Reconstruct Collective, Vent, WAFFLESNCREAM, Faces&Laces Locals, DOPECLVBWORLD, Liars Collective, Xzavier Zulu, and Tania George.

Swanky American car brand Cadillac is the lead sponsor this year, so we’re hoping for a bit more on that front.

Sole DXB has confirmed that American hip hop group Wu-Tang Clan will be headlining the 2019 festival on Saturday, December 7. Also on the bill is grime artist, Wiley; New York rapper, Rico Nasty; and London rapper, Ocean Wisdom. Burna Boy, Black Star and Dave East are all also on the bill.

Pre-sale tickets are available now via Virgin Megastore, priced at Dhs295 for a weekend pass. From October 22, you’ll be able to get individual day passes for Dhs245, and the weekend pass will increase to Dhs375.
