Anas Cherur is a Professional Dubai-based Food Photographer with more than ten years of experience.

I began my career as a graphic designer. However, my passion for lights, shades and colors led to me morphing into a photographer.

Light is something that has always fascinated me. The same location seen at different times under different light conditions leaves the photographer in me amazed. Most of my photography inspirations are from cinema; cinematographer Roger Deakins is my all time favorite. Some day I hope to possess a portfolio - and a professional attitude - similar to that great man!

Over the last 8 years in the UAE, I’ve contributed my photography skills to magazines such as BBC Good Food, CitizenK, WatchTime, InsideOut, Friday, Gulf News and Fatfeat, to name a few.
