Habib Exchange was completely acquired by Al Hail Holding and Global Development Group (GDG) in the year 2014, and was rebranded as Index Exchange. Established on 30th January 1976 as Habib Exchange Company LLC (now Index Exchange) was initially granted license to conduct remittances, exchange foreign currency, and issue travelers cheques.

The company began operations with branches in Dubai and Sharjah, and then expanded into Abu Dhabi and Al Ain after the acquisition of Habib Al Mansour Exchange.

Today, our company conducts business through its growing network of conveniently located branches throughout the emirates. We offer a wide range of services including foreign exchange, payroll, remittances, bill payments and cash collection. The company's re-branding to Index Exchange is more than just a face-lift. We still continue to open new branches, serve new corridors and introduce new technology. Further, we will leverage other companies within the Group, so as to offer clients a broad range of financial services.
