Ekar's vision is to improve the way people consume transportation and is achieving scale by MaaS enabling car rental and leasing companies as well as peer to peer rentals.

Simply locate the nearest car to you, reserve it instantly, and unlock it straight from your phone to start your journey. Once you’re done, you can park it in any of our authorized parking areas.

The ekar App will allow you to find cars in your area. Walk to the car and unlock via the ekar App. Fuel is included for all RTA ekar's in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah. Note that fuel is not included for ekar X long-term rentals. In Dubai, park your RTA ekar at any RTA public parking (except I and J) for free. Please refer to parking policy for Dubai long term rentals. In Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, parking is free of charge.

Signing up is quick and easy. All you need is to be 21 years of age, have a valid driver’s license and a valid ID. Once you've registered, you'll be able to locate the closest ekar on the App. You can book and unlock your ekar on a pay-per-minute (up to 5 hours), daily, weekly, or monthly basis. To book your ekar, simply tap on your ekar of choice in the map view.
