The Wendy's menu mainly consists of hamburgers, French fries, chicken sandwiches, and beverages. Wendy’s hamburgers are made with freshly ground beef patties in the shape of a square. Wendy's is also known for their popular treat, the Frosty, a soft serve ice cream that is eaten with a spoon.

The idea for an old-fashioned square hamburger and thick malt shakes came from owner Dave Thomas' home town in Kalamazoo, Michigan, where another restaurant, Kewpee Hamburgers, served square hamburgers. The rest is history. Now there are over 6500 Wendy's restaurants throughout the world.
