Popular Restaurants in Dubai

The Dubai cuisine is very diverse and very different. There are some very good restaurants in Dubai, some in the hotels and some situated individually, though it should be noted that the hotels are the only places where restaurants will serve alcohol. There are of course exceptions to this rule, such as the Century Village, Irish Village, and the Wafi Centre.

As the weekend begins on Thursday, all the restaurants in Dubai are very busy for the next couple of days. If you are in Dubai and planning to eat out at a popular place then it is wise to book a seat in advance. This is especially true in summer since the heat will cause most restaurants in Dubai to close their outdoor dining areas.

Here are some of the popular restaurants in Dubai.

Al Qasr
If you wish to try out genuine Middle East food then you should not miss Al Qasr. Located on the Dubai Marine Beach Resort and Spa, this restaurant offers some truly wonderful Lebanese and Middle Eastern cuisine. The restaurant overlooks beautiful gardens, swimming pools, and the beach and the resort. All this make for a very nice evening at Al Qasr. Additional ambience is provided by the belly dancers in accompaniment of Arabian music. Meals in this restaurant are not quick affairs so you should come with the intention of spending some time as well as keeping your appetite on the larger side.

Antique Bazaar
This is one of the leading Indian restaurants in Dubai. It is situated at the Four Points Sheraton Bur Dubai and offers excellent food. What will really impress visitors, besides the meal, is the unique decoration taste of this restaurant. Every table inside is different and is covered in motifs that narrate the story of the Indian Palace from where the table was brought.

Ashiana
This is one of the atypical restaurants in Dubai that offers some really good Indian cuisine. It serve dishes that originate in North India. The service is excellent with good waiters who can recommend a decent dish for your own particular tastes. The ambience is pretty good whether you are out for a good time or wish to have a business meeting. The restaurant also features the Ashiana Band that plays classical Indian music.

There are of course many more good restaurants than just the above three in Dubai and you must make it a point to visit at least a few of them.
