A leading real estate developer in the UAE, Pearl Dubai FZ LLC, has announced 50 percent completion of the foundation works of its prestigious Dubai Pearl development, with the completion of raft pouring in the South Tower on the project.
The South Tower has a foundation slab of 3.25meters thickness, and covering a total area of 3,072 square meters. Following the 8.07 meters excavation, the dimensions make it a major milestone in the projects construction timeline.
The second raft pouring on the project was completed in a record time of 30 hours. The overall concrete pouring on the four towers of the project will include 44000 cubic meters of concrete in the foundations containing more than 4800 tonnes of steel reinforcements.
Located opposite the Palm Jumeirah Island in the heart of Dubai Technology and Media Free Zone, the Dubai Pearl is a major landmark destination meant to offer spectacular views of the Arabian Gulf.
By integrating first-class facilities, Dubai Pearl is a pedestrian friendly city, with a range of commercial, residential, retail, hospitality and leisure components to its credit. It also features a 2000-seater performing arts theatre to meet the requirements of the growing population in Dubai.
