The Dubai Gate 2 project contract has been awarded to Transemirates Contracting by Bonyan International Investment Group.
The 35 storey residential development will include 442 luxury apartments, 7 retail areas within Jumeirah Lakes Towers, and a waterfront community adjacent to Shaikh Zayed Road.
The contract has been awarded after a series of resolutions pertaining to the delay by previous contractor during the construction phases, and the new contractor is likely to address the issue, inline with a commitment to deliver the project by 2010. The contractor will bring in adequate number of workers, apart from engineering, safety, administration and other supporting staff, who will work towards delivery of the project.
Headquartered in Dubai, Transemirates Contracting has branch offices in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Al Ain. It has gained a strong reputation in the regional market due to its involvement in several prestigious commercial and residential projects such as the Marina Crown, Mercato, Al Khaili Tower and MAG 214 (Jumeirah Lake Tower).
The Managing Director of Transemirates Contracting, Yousef Al Mulla, said “We are proud to be a part of the prestigious project, and will ensure that our resources meet the high quality of work. We will build on our reputation as a company which emphasizes on quality workmanship and timely delivery.”
