The Dubai-based comprehensive infrastructure specialist, Septech Emirates, has been awarded the Dh.50million contract, to construct three marinas, as a part of Dubai Marina real estate development, the largest man-made marina in the world.
Septech has been assigned the responsibility to design and build the Yacht Club Marina, the Marina Mall Waterfront and the West Marina.
The Marine Division Manager, Septech Emirates, Paul Lane, says “Waterfront Properties have been a growing lifestyle trend, attracting both investors and homeowners from around the globe. Septech aims to increase the bar and offer a distinct identity to the Dubai Marina development.”
The Yacht Club Marina will have 116-berth capacity and will be complete by the end of summer this year.
All three marinas will be provided with power and metering facilities and services, and are expected to be complete towards the year 2009.
On the whole, the Dubai Marina development will meet 600 berthing spaces for vessels that are as big as 120 feet.
