Emaar Properties has achieved a three percent growth in annual net profits touching Dh6.57bn ($1.79bn) last year.
The figure is up from Dh.6.371bn($1.73bn) recorded in 2006, despite the low land sales and slowing down of US real estate sector during 2007, says a statement.
The annual revenue of Emaar increased by 25 percent, touching Dh.17.56bn, compared to Dh.14bn during 2006. The international operations by the company, contributed in a positive manner, to the profitability of the group, with their joint-ventures in India and Morocco in 2007, said the company statement.
