New Speed limits on Dubai Roads announced

The Dubai Police have set new speed limits on certain roads in the emirate.

The Director of General Directorate of Traffic at Dubai Police, Col. Saif Al Mazroui, said the speed limits as below:

From the first interchange of Dubai – Al Ain Road to the Al Ain border has been set at 100km, with radar speed limit now at 120km (Earlier it was 120km with radar speed 140km).

The Radar Speed limit on Umn Suqeim road is set at 100km (earlier 110km).

Speed limit on Dubai Police Academy Flyover along Sheikh Zayed Road to Al Marabe traffic light is 80km, and radar speed 100km

Al Sufouh road speed limit is now 60km and radar speed limit is 80km (earlier it was 80km with radar speed 100 km).

Al Qudra Road speed limit 90km and some roads in Oud Metha radar speed of 111km.

This initiative is inline with the strategic goal by Dubai Police to maintain road safety and reduce accidents as far as possible.

Al Mazroui also hailed traffic awareness campaigns such as Pedestrian Safety Campaign, and Back to School campaigns, which have contributed greatly to achieve the goals of Dubai Police in road safety and reduction in violations that might endanger road users.
