Largest indoor theme park in the world to open doors in Dubai on 15th August

The promoters Ilyas and Mustafa Galadari Group (IMG Group), has announced the opening of the world’s largest indoor theme park in Dubai on 15th August 2016.

Dubai is all set to be the theme parks hub of the region, with Dubai Parks and Resorts already having announced that they are ready to open their theme parks in October this year, and now, the IMG Worlds of Adventure will have few months’ head-start.

The CEO of IMG World of Adventure, Lennard Otto, said that this would be Dubai’s first international mega-theme leisure and entertainment destination, and Dubai is following Orlando 2.0 model, housing various theme parks, which would be part of overall tourism strategy.

The Executive Co-Chairmen and Owners of Ilyas & Mustafa Galadari Group, Ilyas Galadari and Mustafa Galadari said they are looking forward to the opening of IMG Worlds of Adventure in August this year, as being the first international leisure and entertainment destination in Dubai, a world of entertainment awaits the guests.

The indoor theme park would be open 365 days a year, with capacity for 30,000 visitors a day. About 4.5million guests are expected on the first year of opening. The park is already 96 percent complete, and final approvals and final testing of certain attractions are awaited.

The park will have total of 20 rides and attractions, when it opens in August, except the 12-screen Novo Cinema, which is likely to open shortly thereafter. The $1billion project is completely indoors and comprises four zones – Cartoon Network Zone, Marvel Zone, Lost Valley Zone and IMG Boulevard. There will be more than 4500 parking spaces.

Promising a remarkable indoor theme park experience, with best of international and local interactive entertainment, globally recognized characters and superheroes, the IMG Worlds of Adventure awaits its opening.

Tickets are priced at Dh.300 for adults, Dh.250 for children. More details on multiple day and annual passes to follow soon. The tickets would be available for sale online from 25th April 2016.
