Gulfex launches new solutions to meet harsh weather at The Big 5

Gulf Extrusions (Gulfex), a leading manufacturer of extruded aluminium products has launched a series of construction solutions during its participation at the ongoing Big 5 International Building and Construction Show, Dubai.

The show kicked off on 23rd November, and will conclude today, the 26th November at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

The company unveiled Safaa, a new range of specialty powder coating particularly developed for the unique architectural demands of the region, offering a wide range of design and colour choices to contractors, architects, engineers and property owners, a statement from Gulfex said.

A new software for optimization of estimated time of completion and structural calculation has been unveiled by the company. This new solution will help in reducing production and estimation time by 50 percent, and prepare structural and u-value calculations, it said.

Moreover, it will showcase solutions that meet and exceed performance criteria for fire safety and acoustics in buildings. Although even noise reductions are a priority for buildings, fire safety solutions help ensure a safer environment.

Gulfex has held a Continuing Professional Development (CPD)-certified workshop on ‘Fire Safety in Facades’, and has organized a live demonstration of the best practices in facade installation, accessory and fire-fighting equipment during its participation at the show, the statement said.

The CEO of Metals Industries, Modar Al Medad and General Manager of Gulf Extrusions, said that the show is one of the biggest and most established exhibitions in the region, and is the ideal platform for new launches in building and construction.

Gulfex has also introduced a new powder coating range, a fire and safety solution, acoustic solutions, and these products are particularly designed to meet the harsh environment conditions of the Middle East, characterized by high temperatures, humidity and have been receiving tremendous response from trade visitors. With more live demos from our end, customers can have a better understanding of our products, he said.
