Expo 2020 - Dubai Ruler tours multiple pavilions on Day 2

HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, began his day two tour of the Expo 2020 with a visit to the Saudi and Oman Pavilions. 

He was accompanied by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, and Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Deputy Ruler of Dubai.

HH Sheikh Mohammed also met the French Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jean Yves Le Drian, during his visit to the France Pavilion at Expo 2020 on 2nd October.

The leaders spoke about the prospects of strengthening strategic partnership between France and the UAE and the importance of global event in creating a better future.

France is celebrating its National Day at the Expo 2020 Dubai.

Epic fireworks capped off the Day 1 of the world’s greatest show, while the UAE Vice President toured the US, UAE and Kazakhstan pavilions.

“The East meets West at Dubai, and they talk in Dubai,” he said, as he spoke to the media on Day 1.

Among the others present at the Star-studded opening ceremony of the Expo 2020 were Sheikh Mohammed and HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

Participants from more than 192 countries have united in Dubai for this huge global event, being held for the first time in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia region.
