Speed cameras on Dubai roads
Some drivers have leant that speeding along the roads at 160kmph and then slamming on their car’s brakes just in time, will not be recorded by the speed cameras, though sometimes ,this is not so. However, sometimes it is possible to pass the camera cruising at 10kmph or even faster than the allowed speed without being flashed by the cameras. A policeman rarely stops a motorist due to speeding. The speed camera records everything that goes on along the highways and other roads, and if you commit a speeding offense, you will be required to pay a speeding fine when renewing your driver’s license or your car’s registration fees.
Most drivers on Dubai roads have dreadful driving habits which often result in accidents, forcing the police to start clamping down on risky driving. They have constructed permanent traffic cones on some slip roads to thwart some drivers from nipping at the last minute instead queuing like any other driver. Due to the mixture of nationalities in Dubai, driving methods are varied leading to speeding troubles. However, to counteract these troubles, speed cameras are a common device, and so are speed bumps.
