CareerJunction makes its entry into the Middle East job market

An eleven-year old online recruitment solution, CareerJunction, has been officially launched for operation in the Middle East, with Dubai as its base.

The CareerJunction Middle East is basically a South African company, and Middle East is the first overseas outlet of the company, which enjoys 70 percent share in its home market.

The CEO of CareerJunction, Middle East, Kris Jarzebowski, said “With an ever-increasing demand for talent in this region, our entry to this market has been appropriately timed. Our business is to supply candidates to the recruitment market, and we will not get involved in the recruitment process ourselves. The technology that we provide is the medium through which job-hunters and recruiters can interact in a secure and completely confidential environment.”

Jarzebowski revealed that more than 800 companies, including top recruitment agency brands, have been contracted to use CareerJunction on an ongoing basis. On an average, CareerJunction advertises 40,000 job ads per month, attracting 340,000 unique monthly browsers, and generates more than 15 million page impressions over the same period.

Jarzebowski hopes that their Middle East service will surpass usage and popularity of the South African Web service, at a faster pace, due to high interest in the Middle East job opportunities, as there is a higher internet penetration in the region.
