The new initiative is aimed at reaching out to the nationals living abroad, who wish to explore opportunities in their home countries. The initiative also supports the ongoing commitment by UAE government to offer skilled employment opportunities for locals, which form a part o f diversified knowledge-based economy. A similar initiative is also launched by Monster.com in India, Philippines, Malaysia and Saudi Arabia, in response to economic situations impacting the multicultural global workforce today. Monster.com will target and connect with Emirati jobseekers from Canada, US, UK, South East Asia and India, and will connect them with opportunities that exist for them in their own country.
