| One of the initiatives of Abu Dhabi Systems & Information Centre (ADSIC), jobs Abu Dhabi, has organized an employment e-fair, beginning today, until the 20th May, together with Bayt.com, and the involvement of several governmental bodies, universities and private sector in the UAE. The e-fair is first of its kind in the UAE, which permits jobseekers to register by logging on to www.abudhabi.ae/efair and visit various sections of the fair to know about the participant parties, and review unique job opportunities, submit a CV and interact with employers in the right manner. Business owners in the UAE can search for skilled potentials as in the case of traditional fairs, without being present in a particular place. This will help save time, travel expenses and will help both employers and job seekers to communicate through online video conference. The fair permits fully secured access to 3D virtual Booths reserved for involved employers. Every stand will carry the name and logo of the company, and will allow access to company specific information, including its goals, culture, jobs and procedures for recruitment. Created in October 2008, the Jobs Abu Dhabi is a part of e-government programme, and is a part of the strategy by Abu Dhabi government to achieve governmental e-services in Abu Dhabi, adopted by ADSIC. Jobs Abu Dhabi is one of the important sites visited by employers and jobseekers in Abu Dhabi emirate. The site attracted a total of 1.2mn visitors from 150 countries worldwide until last March. The fair aims to assist the government and private agencies in the process of employment, while also enabling the Abu Dhabi Government to be more effective and efficient in the provision of modern services to broader members of the society.
