Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammad has kicked off the Dubai fitness challenge by inviting people from across the UAE to re-energise their lifestyles.
With plenty of deals, offers & more than 4,000 free fitness classes at more than 250 locations across the city, this year the 30-day challenge is promising to look bigger and fitter than ever before. The challenge is expecting to hit one million participants & all you have to do to be a part of the fit community and avail the offer is to download the Dubai Fitness app & register.
Sheikh Hamdan said that together people could make the UAE one of the world’s most active nations.
Despite Covid 19 restrictions, Dubai’s fitness challenge will offer events and classes over the 30 day period that will give people the chance to exercise en masse.
Three fitness villages have been created at Kite Beach, Al Khawaneej, and Dubai festival city, as well as fitness hubs around the city. Participants can book a lot ahead of time and take part in a range of different activities including HIIT classes, volleyball, and football.
If you’re looking for something more challenging, there’s the Al Marmoom Dune run on November 13. Run through 5km of hard and soft sand, kicking off at 6.45 am. You can also take part in the Grit and Tonic Triathlon in Hatta, the Dragon Boat challenge in Festival City, or the Sketchers Performance run.
