An Evening With Rio Ferdinand

He’s one of football’s greatest-ever centre backs, who played for Manchester United, Leeds United, West Ham and England during his near-20-year career, and now Rio Ferdinand is heading to Dubai for a one-night live event at W Dubai – The Palm on Wednesday January 8 2020.

The night will be hosted by BT Sport commentator and presenter Darren Fletcher, and depending on what package you go for you’ll be able to get a whole experience to go with it.

During the evening, fans can expect to hear the 40-year-old retired footballer discuss the glory days of his glittering career, taking guests behind the scenes at Boleyn Ground, Elland Road and Old Trafford to give a real-life insight into what life is like for one of England’s best-loved footballing stars. There’s also going to be live entertainment, a memorabilia auction and other offers and more taking place over the course of the evening.

An Evening with Rio Ferdinand will be the first in a series of sporting superstar events brought to the region by Platinum Experiences. Previous events have seen stars including Ryan Giggs and Robbie Fowler take to the stage in the UK, and event organisers are promising a star-studded line-up of football, boxing and Formula 1 stars.

If you want to go big and book the platinum package (prices TBC and available on request), you’ll get complimentary drinks all evening to go alongside your three-course meal, a private meet and greet with Ferdinand, a framed 6 x 9 professional photograph with the footy legend, plus a signed, authenticated Ferdinand Manchester United shirt from the 2009 Champions League which, incidentally, the reds won.

Other packages scale down what’s on offer, but no matter what you go for, football fans are going to have a blast meeting one of the legends of the game.
