FAI World Parachuting Championships Mondial 2012

FAI World Parachuting Championship is a truly global event, involving participation of nearly 800 parachutists from 55 countries. It coincides with the UAE National Day celebrations this year.
During the event, there will be six world championships, 29 world champions, seven parachuting and skydiving competitive disciplines, and one test and demonstration event.
The championship is being held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamad Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council and Chairman of Dubai Sports Council. The competitions include skydiving, accurate landing, canopy piloting, free fall flying free style and para skiing for the first time ever in Middle East.
