Virtual Concert: NOON

Dubai Opera is bringing the music home to locked-down fans because of coronavirus restrictions with a series of performances from famous artists that would be livestreamed on social media.

This interactive live Instagram session, which starts at 7 p.m. Dubai time, will be on Dubai Opera’s Instagram account.

Listen to the melodies composed by three skilled musicians, from different cultural and instrumental backgrounds, come together on 2nd July.

Noon band is made up of three players drawn from different cultural and musical backgrounds. The instrumental trio bravely embody, and certainly enliven, the hackneyed idea of East/West musical fusions.

The band's music fuses captivating beats from the East and West with funk-inspired rhythms. Watch them play the traditional Emirati oud, an electric bass and drums infused with the calming impulses of jazz.
