Dr. Rolf Soehnchen studied medicine in Munich, Hamburg, and London and did his training as dermatologist at the University Hospital of Munich University (LMU). He received his board in dermatology (Facharzt) in 1990 from the Bavarian Medical Council and holds qualifications in Allergology, Phlebology (venous diseases) He holds the Diploma of Aesthetic Laser Medicine (DALM) of the University of Greifswald.

Dr. Rolf Soehnchen did a fellowship in skin tumor biology at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. Later he was named Oberarzt at the Dermatology Department of the Free University Berlin, where he focused on dermatologic surgery and laser medicine. After this he was appointed as medical director of a dermatologic rehabilitation hospital in Leichlingen, Germany, and was running a busy dermatology practice in the Cologne area.

In 2006, Dr. Rolf came to UAE, where he was in charge of the dermatology department of the American Hospital Dubai. Since 2011, he started Cooper Dermatology Clinic as a clinic to treat diseased skin and to improve stressed skin according to state-of-the-art standards. With more than 25 years of experience as dermatologist and allergologist, Dr. Rolf focuses on all form of skin diseases and allergic problems and can provide with a wide array of latest diagnostic and therapeutic options. Aside from this, his special interest is dermatologic laser applications and aesthetic medicine with the widely used peels, fillers and Botulinim Toxins.

He has been a speaker in several regional and international conferences and had been active as trainer in courses for aesthetic and laser medicine. Dr. Rolf Soehnchen holds professional licenses in: UAE, Germany, UK and he is member of several European, German and American dermatology related societies.
