A luxurious hotel and Dubai's most famous landmark, the Burj
Al Arab, which has been designed to resemble a billowing
sail, soars to a height of 321 metres. By night it offers a
breath-taking sight surrounded by choreographed colour sculptures
of water and fire. A must see for tourists, the Burj Al Arab,
billed as the only seven-star hotel in the world, has 202 suites.
Operated by Jumeirah, the hotel has seen Tiger Woods hitting
several golf balls from the helipad into the Arabian Gulf.
Tennis giants Roger Federer and Andre Agassi have also sparred
on the helipad, which is 200 metres above the ground. The Burj
Al Arab is one of the most famous hotels in the world. The hotel
attracts the international jet set by the dozen. Holidaymakers
who have saved up for the trip-of-a-lifetime also enjoy staying
there.
