The observation deck features the Behold Telescope, an augmented reality device, which permits visitors to view the surrounding landscape in real-time, and to view previously saved images such as those taken at various times of the day and at different weather conditions.

The journey to At the Top begins at the ground level of The Dubai Mall. Throughout the journey, visitors get to view a multi-media presentation of the exotic history of Dubai and the wonders of Burj Khalifa. A standard visit to At the Top lasts for almost an hour, allowing enough time for visitors to relax and enjoy the Dubai skyline at leisure.

Visitors are allowed to purchase tickets in advance for a specific date and time. Discounts are given for tickets purchased in advance than those purchased on the spot. The Observatory Deck / At the Top is open from 10am to 10pm (Sunday to Wednesday) and from 10am to 12am (Thursday to Saturday).
