Often also referred as Sheikh Hamdan Beach, the place is famous for kite surfing and has many other sports facilities like volleyball nets and shaded areas to relax after a long sun bath. The beach is clean and also has toilets and changing facilities and showers. The entry to the beach is free and the opening hours are from sunrise till sunset.

Al Mamzar Beach Park
Now this is one can be your pick if you planning a whole day out or picnicking with your family out on a lovely sandy beach. With a huge stretch, the Mamzar Beach Park is one of the most favored and populated beaches in Dubai. The beach serves with a number of facilities like showers and changing rooms and you can also take sun loungers and umbrellas on rent for relaxing at the beach. A partial area of the beach is free and a complete access of the beach can be enjoyed with a nominal 5dirhams park fee. Mondays and Wednesday are exclusively women and children days only.

Jumeirah Beach Park
Located on the Jumeirah road, this lovely beach with a bright and vibrant landscape of lush green garden has a great soothing appeal. After a long hours of sun tanning, the cool misty grass and the shady palm trees gives a great comfort. With the lifeguards on duty at the sea shore, the Jumeirah beach park also has barbecues, cabins and shaded areas along with a kids play area. With a fee of 5dirhams, the park is open from 7am- 11pm (Sat-Wed) and 7am to 11:30pm (Thursdays and Fridays).

Jebel Ali Beach
Now this one is a not so popular open beach situated near the Jebel Ali Beach Resort. The beach is also good place to go for kite surfing with a number of kite surfers often clustered together at the place. Being a bit far from the city, it can be fun exploring the beach making the trip a nice adventure expedition. If you are planning an overnight camping, then it is better to take prior permission from the authorities.
JBR Open Beach
Often also referred as the Russian Beach, the JBR Open Beach is another one of the free to use beach in Dubai. The beach is relatively clean with quite a few facilities like toilets and changing rooms. The beach also has a number of outdoor activities like beach volleyball, cycling and jogging track etc. Being in the close vicinity to various hotels and restaurants, there are a number of food outlets to serve your appetite after a tiring day at the beach.

Now if you want to see the class and luxury personified, there is no better place to step in then One and Only Royal Mirage. With a pristine and crystal clear stretch of 1 km beach line, it clearly epitomizes lavishness and a royal stay. Pack on your bags and head on to the Ghantoot Beach if you want to spend some time away from the city. Located on the outskirts, it is a private beach run by the Golden Tulip Hotel. With a number of volleyball nets, you can have fun around playing while also barbecuing at the long stretch of beach sands. The access to the beach costs around 100Dirhms with a number of pools, bars and cafes also present at the resort.
Al Qasr Hotel, Madinat Jumeirah
