RAK Dream Tours unveiled to public

RAK Dream Tours, a new tourism project along the Al Qawasim Corniche in Ras Al Khaimah, was unveiled to public on Friday night.

Unveiled by Shaikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, the Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, the new project spreads across an area of 41,000 square feet. It features two restaurants in historic fort tower-like buildings, located amidst meandering walkways, landscaped gardens amidst water fountains and running streams.

Offering wonderful views of RAK Creek, the mountains, and the mangroves, the project offers an array of leisure options such as yacht trips through the creek, inside outdoor dining, water sports, sightseeing tours, onboard double-decker buses, and rides on horse-drawn carriages.

Speaking to the media, Shaikh Saud said the project is hoped to enhance the tourism offerings of the emirate by offering tourists an option to enjoy the scenic beauty of RAK.

Appreciating the initiative, he said the government is committed towards helping Emirati businessmen in establishing their new business ventures and projects, particularly in the tourism sector.

RAK Government has identified infrastructure and tourism development as a major element in its development plan. The emirate is bestowed with unique and diverse geographical features, and has the potential to grow to be a major tourism destination in the region shortly, said Shaikh Saud.

According to RAK Dream Tours, the company intends to offer a range of options for visitors to enjoy the scenery and explore RAK. The unique location of the project along the Al Qawasim Corniche, offers wonderful views of the Nakheel City on the other side.

The city is hoped to have Arabic and Italian style restaurants and the project architecture combines modern and traditional elements with wind-towers, featured alongside water gazebos, drawing inspiration from Japanese landscape design.

Habirah Haroon, an Egyptian expatriate said that the beautiful place will enable residents to hang out and relax with their friends and families, particularly during weekends.
