UAE kick-starts Government Services Development Project

The Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, H H Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, launched the Government Services Development Project yesterday.

The project intends to develop federal government services and enhance them so as to reflect as one of the priorities of the strategic government plan, offering best of its services to customers dealing with ministries and federal authorities.

The project was launched by Shaikh Mohammed, during his visit to Zayed Housing Programme in Dubai, the first federal body to implement the project, which includes a new corporate identity, opening new branches, a call center and changing the working hours of housing programme.

The government bodies have been instructed to implement the same model in service development, to satisfy customers. He emphasized the role of Shaikh Zayed Housing Programme in offering appropriate housing for citizens across the UAE, inline with vision of President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, which places Emiratis at the core of comprehensive development plans.

Shaikh Mohammed appreciated the housing programme’s employees for having won the first place among all government authorities in implementing the strategic plan.

Shaikh Mohammed viewed the model residential villas constructed by the programme across the UAE, inline with orders of the President and Vice President.

Shaikh Mohammed had earlier issued instructions to construct about 40,000 villas for nationals who are in need of housing.
