Shahama-Saadiyat highway project to be ready by September

The 10-lane, Shahama-Saadiyat highway project, will be ready by early September this year, it has been revealed. The project will link Shahama-Dubai-Abu Dhabi road to Abu Dhabi city.

The completion date is about one and a half months away, and the company is sure about completion the project on time, said and official at Aldar Properties.

However, there is little more work left along the 1.3kilometer bridge, built by TDIC (Tourism Development and Investment Corporation). But it will be completed by September. The bridge will link Saadiyat with Mina Zayed.

The Shahama-Saadiyat highway project was undertaken by Aldar Properties in conjunction with TDIC and Department of Transport.

The highway construction which began in March 2007 will cover a length of 27 kilometers.
