MGM Mirage to operate Dubai hotel

MGM Mirage, the International hospitality, is all set to operate three of its world-famous hotels – the MGM Grand, the Bellagio and the Skylofts in Dubai, a part of the Dh15bn Dubai Pearl project.

The announcement implies that Dubai Pearl becomes the first hotel and residence in Dubai under the MGM Mirage brand. It is also the first operation of MGM Mirage in the Middle East.

The group owns and operates 16 properties in Mississippi, Michigan and Nevada and also has 50 percent investments in four other properties in the US and one in Macau.

The developer Pearl Dubai will own and finance the 250-room Bellagio hotel, the 30-suite Skylofts hotel and the 350 rooms MGM Grand hotel.

MGM Mirage Hospitality will manage and provide all necessary technical expertise for the venture.

Dubai Pearl is hoped to be an inspiration for travellers and residents seeking liveable luxury that infuses energy and excitement with sophisticated service, said Gamal Aziz, the President and Chief Executive Officer of MGM Mirage Hospitality.
