First students-only accommodation on progress
Rixima FZ LLC has begun work on the Dh700mn student accommodation project at the Dubai International Academic City (DIAC), the worlds only free zone mean for international higher education.
Scheduled for completion in September 2011, the project can accommodate 2800 students studying at DIAC. This is the first only student accommodation built in Dubai.
The ground breaking ceremony for the project involved the participation of Dr. Ayoub Kazim, Executive Director of Dubai International Academic City. The ceremony follows the launch of Riximia Student Accommodation project.
During the ceremony, the General Manager of Rixima FZ LLC, Zoltan Katona, said that a time capsule would be buried in the foundations of the student accommodation. It would contain a range of everyday times from modern Dubai providing a picture of life in Dubai today for future generations.
