Pre-paid Salik scratch cards introduced

Topping up Salik accounts (the road toll fee in Dubai) is now much easier with the introduction of new prepaid Salik scratch cards.

With denominations of Dh.50, Dh.100 and Dh.200, the Salik scratch cards are of much help to the users, due to its easy access to the service at any given time, and helps save the time and effort otherwise required to visit the Dubai RTA or the petrol stations, which were the only options for motorists earlier to top up their Salik accounts.

The CEO of Traffic and Roads Agency in RTA, Maitha Obaid Bin Udai, said that the aim of introducing the prepaid Salik scratch cards is to offer the Salik users with easy access to the service at any time, and the RTA is currently working towards finalizing these options.

The new system is easy to use. Each Salik scratch card has a secret code which needs to be scratched by the client for crediting the Salik account.
