Global Village extravaganza to be unveiled on 12th November

The 14th edition of Global Village, a unique international destination for tourism, entertainment, leisure and culture in the region, will unveil a new spectacular seasonal event beginning 12th November 2008 to 21st February 2009 at Dubailand.

The Emirates NBD will be the major sponsor for the forthcoming Global Village extravaganza for the fourth consecutive year. The sponsorship is the latest among the long series of initiatives by Emirates NBD to support and promote initiatives by Dubai Government.

The General Manager – Consumer Banking and Wealth Management at Emirates NBD, Jamal bin Ghalita, at Emirates NBD, said that Global Village is a major event for involvement of the bank. It is one of the richest cultural events to be held in Dubai, attracting people of different cultures from across the world, offering fun-filled, but, education platform to visitors.

He said that the bank goes on to share a common ground with the values built upon by the Global Village, catering to various nationalities and all levels of society.

Emirates NBD would render its services at the venue of the event, by facilitating 7 ATMs to the visitors.
