Emirates introduces 31 additional flights to India
Emirates announced an additional 31 weekly flights to India, beginning November, and again from February.
This marks the second major expansion campaign for India this year by the airline. The airline is operating about 163 weekly flights to 10 gateways.
The expansion will proceed in a phased manner with major cities such as New Delhi and Mumbai being the main beneficiaries. The vital commercial hubs including Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Kochi will also gain additional frequencies.
Beginning 1st February, Emirates will fly to Mumbai 35 times per week and 25 times a week to New Delhi. After the inclusion of five additional flights, the airline will fly in the Dubai-Bangalore route 20 times a week.
The Chennai-Dubai route will see inclusion of four additional flights, bringing the total number of flights per week to 19.Two new flights would be included on the Dubai-Kochi route immediately and two more would be included next February.
Three new flights would be added along the Hyderabad route, which will take effect immediately, and another new flight would be included in December.
