DNRD to introduce Video Conferencing facility for visa queries

The Dubai Naturalization and Residency Department is all set to launch a new video conferencing facility, which would enable prompt answers to all queries pertaining to visa and residency procedures.

The Amer Video Conferencing Kiosk will be convenient, easily accessible, and enhances clarity of DNRD procedures for residency and visa applications, and all other services pertaining to DNRD.

Designed in a simple and efficient manner, the Amer Video Conference Kiosk is available in Arabic and English languages, said Maj. Gen. Mohammad Ahmed Al Merri, the Director General of DNRD.

Kiosks will be located at DNRD Headquarters, Dubai International Airport, external DNRD offices and major shopping centers in Dubai.

This new automated system is an extension of DNRD ‘Amer’ system. It was launched during the ongoing Gitex 2008, and will be open for public towards beginning of next year.
