mPay facility enables easy access to settle government dues
The Dubai eGovernment recently launched mPay a mobile payment service, meant for efficient and comfortable means of paying government fee in the emirate.
The new service makes use of the highly secure Dubai eGovernment ePay System, which abides by the Verified by Visa and Master Card’s SecureCode Programmes, and joins the eGovernment's portfolio of innovative and electronic solutions.
The mPay facility has been launched to offer electronic recharge of Salik accounts, and will be further expanded to include several other government services in the near future.
The eServices Director at the Dubai eGovernment, Salem Al Shair, said that Dubai eGovernment has been actively pursuing innovative solutions that are in tune with the ongoing transformation of Dubai as a global economic hub. With speed and efficiency being the vital for success, the availability of online platforms is crucial to sustain the desired growth levels.
The mPay service is specifically designed to serve this purpose, offering a quick and easy access to settle government fees for people on the move, said Salem Al Shair.
Clients can register free at mPay service and on a single sign up on mPay’s web portal, an activation code would be sent to the user’s email address. The code will then have to be forwarded via SMS to 4488, using the user’s registered mobile phone number. After the process, the client will receive a PIN via SMS, which could be used for all future mPay transactions.
More such information has been explained on the mPay website, and detailed explanation regarding registration process, and answers to other queries can be found.
