Dubai to house third tallest structure in the world

One of the leading Dubai-based property developer Tameer, will launch its Anara Tower, a 140 storey development, which would stand high at 650 meters or more. The tower will be located adjacent to the American University of Dubai on Sheikh Zayed Road.

The launch follows an intensive global design competition, which brought together several global offices of the design firm Atkins, to compete with each other, for the privilege of designing the landmark project.

Every inch of the tower is infused with arts and culture, and includes a world-renowned art gallery, which is set to anchor New Dubai as the perfect scene for arts and culture.

According to the current world rankings, this mixed-use project will be one among the tallest structures in the world, and would include a mix of single, double and triple bedroom luxury apartments, palatial penthouses with a minimum of one of the penthouses planned to include a private elevator and a private pool, which will be the most valuable in the Middle East.

Hosting one of the finest shops, purveyors and boutiques of fine goods, Anara will also include a retail space, the Art Gallery, a 250 rooms five-star boutique hotel, and luxury branded hotel apartments with all amenities.

Anara is so designed that it would be the right answer for the environmental challenges faced by modern day skyscrapers. It uses several energy-saving measures such as maximizing water and energy, and includes renewable sources of energy, in addition to adhering to the international recognized LEED certification requirements.

The CEO of Tameer, Ghassan Sakhnini, said that the design of ‘Anara’ Tower represents the convergence of arts and culture in Dubai, together with the firm’s desire to produce a form that would be instantly recognizable on the regional, local and architectural scale.

“Anara represents the future of what is already the most future-forward metropolis in the world,” Sakhnini said.

With this development, UAE visitors can go to the restaurant located right on top of the property and experience new Dubai.

Developer Tameer would move its global headquarters into this tower, when completed.
