UAE Visas can now be applied online

The Interior Ministry in UAE has announced that both residents and citizens can now apply for all visas online at its website.

The applicants are free to pay the fee and other charges online through credit cards, revealed Maj Gen Mattar Salim bin Mesaied Al Nejadi, Director – IT Department, Ministry of Interior.

The applicants can also take a print of the filled-in application form, and attach it to the required documents and submit at the nearest Naturalization and Residency Department to receive an immediate visa after document verifications.

The Head of the System Development Section at the IT Department, Maj. Khalid Nasr, has clarified that the Ministry has suggested two methods for payment of fees and charges.

While one is open for everybody, the other is tailored for establishments and companies, as they will be able to open a special financial account with the Dubai Commercial Bank at a minimal value of Dh.5000 towards payment of fees and charges, the report said.
