Landmark Hotel Management group to launch 10 Shariah-compliant hotels across UAE
Landmark Hotel Management, a leading hotel management company in UAE, has announced the launch of ten world-class Shariah-compliant hotels and serviced apartments across UAE and Saudi Arabia towards the end of 2010.
This move is inline with the company aim to meet to the increasing demand for Shariah-compliant projects in the Middle East. Six out of the ten upcoming projects will be launched in Dubai, with two in Abu Dhabi, one four-star hotel in Fujairah and one hotel in Jeddah.
According to the Managing Director of Landmark Hotel Group, SM Sadique, said “All projects will operate based on Islamic principles, implying alcohol-free, halal food, which provides a percentage of profit to charity.”
A significant increase is seen in the inflow of Arab and Muslim tourists and a high demand for Shariah-compliant hotels has been witnessed in the Middle East region. Further, the unprecedented growth in regional markets has led to an additional increase in the arrival of Arab tourists and a subsequent rise is being witnessed for hotels abiding by Islamic principles, Sadique said.
The hotels will be built to world-class standards and would offer a range of amenities meant for Muslim and non-Muslim guests. The Landmark Hotel Management is confident about increasing the mass appeal of Shariah-compliant hotels.
