Sorouh, MGM-Rubicon sign entertainment deal



Sorouh Real Estate has entered into a deal with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios (MGM) and Rubicon to explore the development of entertainment opportunities within Sorouh’s real estate portfolio.

The first project will be a large-scale entertainment destination, featuring unique concepts that establish new industry trends by presenting a blend of Middle Eastern and Western traditions and cultures that are unique to the region.

The Sorouh Vice-Chairman, Khalaf Al Mazroui, and Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage, Director-General, said that through the company’s partnership with MGM and Rubicon, the unique opportunities present in the emirate's real estate portfolio will be leveraged, which will result in enhancing Sorouh's profile of entertainment destinations for Abu Dhabi.

The three companies together, will develop a broad and varied entertainment platform, forming content for high-quality themed entertainment and leisure facilities. The collaboration will be approached phase by phase, so as to create and implement entertainment concepts and theme-related realty developments.

This strategic alliance will also enable formation of other business opportunities which will establish a long-term, multi-faceted relationship.

“This partnership is a testament to Sorouh’s continuous commitment to provide value to both investors and customers alike,” said Al Mazroui.
