Etihad Airways launches new flight to the Kerala Capital
Etihad Airways has begun three flights a week from Abu Dhabi to Thiruvanathapuram, the Kerala Capital.
This added destination is a part of the expansion plans of Etihad in the Indian market, which already has a service to New Delhi, and plans to launch flights to Kochi during the coming week.
With these new services, the India operations of the airline has been boosted up from ten flights a week to twenty one flights per week and is further likely to reach twenty eight flights a week by October, once the Thiruvananthapuram and Kochi flights commences on a daily basis from Abu Dhabi.
The Chief Executive of Etihad Airways, James Hogan says "The launch of the Thiruvananthapuram service is the beginning of a new and exciting chapter for Etihad Airways in India. There is huge demand for flights to Kerala from our customers across the world, including Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom, and we look forward to welcoming them onboard our aircraft."
The inaugural airfares for the new Thiruvananthapuram flights of Etihad begins from Dh.1260 for economy class (return Coral Zone), Dh.2460 for business class (Pearl zone) and Dh.3,950 for first class (diamond zone).
