Budget airline to touch two Indian cities
Travellers en-route UAE-India, now have few more options to choose from, after the launch of new budget airlines. Mihin Lanka a budget airline of Sri Lanka, has begun operations from Dubai, and has included two more destinations to India via Sri Lanka by this month-end.
This move was due to the increasing demand from the Tamil Nadu and Kerala passengers. The airline, which is now awaiting final clearance from India, will begin its flights to Trichy and Trivandrum shortly.
Mihin Lanka is expecting more passengers with the approach of summer, the right time for the UAE residents to go overseas on vacations.
In the meantime, another budget airline Air India Express also has plans to double its fleet by next year. In another two to three months, AI Express will begin its flights from Dubai to Trivandrum.
Most Indians have expressed their happiness, as the new budget airline would now enable them to travel home at ease.
