Dubai continues to flourish as major economic and tourism hub

Dubai has been well-known as economic and tourism hub of the country, and the entire Middle East, so much, that it can even prosper without oil and gas.

The General Manager of Star Hospitality Resorts and Hotels, Peter Janssen, stated that Dubai is a safe place for investment, as the real estate business is continuously booming, showing no signs of retardation, and the government strongly supports the infrastructure growth. To add to this, Dubai is the hot destination for travelers and tourists.

This being the case, Jansen mentioned that his company is making use of this situation in Dubai and has built more serviced apartments and hotel rooms around the city, and in Jumeirah properties, in particular. Star Hotels, which is the hospitality division of the real estate developer, ETA Star Properties, will soon be expanding to other emirates such as Oman, Qatar and Bahrain.

Star Hotels, yesterday formally inaugurated their Dh.100million StarBoutique Clock Tower, the 90-apartment creek-side hotel serviced apartments, which offer a personalized home-style hospitality coupled with luxurious hotel amenities.

The Director of ETA Star Hopitality, Riyazur Rahman, mentioned that the business has been opened at the right time, when Dubai is fast emerging as the best destination for trade fair and global networking events, apart from being a major tourism hub.

Rahman expects StarBoutique to have a hundred percent occupancy rate due to its highly ranked market which consists of tourists from Germany, UK, Turkey, North Asia-China, South Korea, Japan, Indian Sub-continent and Scandinavian countries.
